The ruins of Herculaneum
Our Amalfi and Capri journey was a cautious mix of mountain climbing, tradition (historical and modern), delicacies, and native wine. We met in Naples on Day 1 and visited the archaeological museum within the morning adopted by Herculaneum within the afternoon. Vesuvius’ eruption in 79 A.D. destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum.
